Club Info
The Breffni Wheelers Cycling Club is a small but developing cycling club in Cavan. Members are interested in all aspects of cycling, from the weekly cycle with club members to the international events such as the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia etc. While the club is not a competitive club, members have participated in a range of events both nationally and internationally this year. We have very close links with the Cavan Triathlon Club and regurlarly share training sessions on the road and in the pool.
Breffni Wheelers are very safety aware and require that you wear a helmet if you want to ride with the group.
The club have a new committee and are happy to let members and interested cyclists know that we are in the process of organising a series of lectures/workshops for the Autumn. We hope to publish a diary of events in the next two weeks.
The weekend cycles convene at the Orchard Pub, Drumalee, Cavan at 10.30am on Saturday and Sunday weather permitting. Cycle helmets are compulsory if you want to join the club for the cycle.
